I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (WA), and have worked in the eating disorder treatment world since 2018 following graduation from Brandman University, where I earned a Master of Arts in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy. I also received my Bachelor’s degree from Brandman University, majoring in Psychology and earning a certificate in Nutrition and Wellness. Prior to my clinical work, I was engaged in eating disorder education and advocacy, and began my own work on unpacking and exploring weight stigma and anti-fat bias.
I am passionate about working with individuals struggling in their relationship with food and body, and am a certified Body Trust® Provider. I work from a Health At Every Size® lens, and use a compassionate, person-centered approach to support my patients in identifying the wisdom and strength in their stories. I believe in the healing power of community and connection, and hold the therapeutic relationship with the utmost respect and care. I strive to make the therapeutic space inclusive and affirming of the many identities my clients hold, and look forward to meeting you in your journey.
