I love what I do for a living! I have the privilege of walking with people through chaos, change, uncertainty, ambiguity, joy, sadness, anxiety or any other time of discovery life might bring. My greatest joy is seeing people find hope, make meaningful changes in their lives, and simply live a better life.

I have worked in many different settings as a therapist including hospitals, community mental health centers, a homeless shelter, and in private practice. I work with couples, trauma, anxiety, depression, and hoarding & acquiring issues. I draw from multiple therapy methods to include psychodynamic, CBT, Emotinally Focussed Couples Therapy, and Mindfulness. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I customize therapy to your unique, individual needs in order to help you reach your goals.

My approach is relational and collaborative. I believe in working together to achieve the goals you desire in counseling. My goal as a therapist is to create the safest place possible so you can find a greater sense of purpose, meaning, wholeness and healing.

I also have specialized training in spirituality and faith integration, and love to bring beliefs, faith, spirituality, and the big existential questions about meaning and purpose into the therapy room.

When I’m not in the therapy room I can most likely be found somewhere in the Pacific Northwest with fly rod in hand. I have a thirty year fascination with catching fish, tying flies, and spending time in nature.
